I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist, supervisor, and trainer, as well as a qualified Massage therapist, and have been in full-time clinical practice for over 35 years.

This means that my sole focus of my entire working life has been the two worlds of Bodywork and Psychology

I am the pioneer and director of The NO HANDS Academy for Transformational Touch Therapy, an Advanced training for qualified Massage therapists. In this work I have taught over 3,000 Massage therapists how to work without traumatising themselves by using my unique NO HANDS system of Touch and movement. Throughout these courses Massage therapists also learn how to use the insights of psychotherapy to increase their clinical effectiveness.

In 2018 I brought these two worlds of psychology and touch together, using the very latest neuroscientific discoveries around Trauma, through my groundbreaking Neuroscience of Touch seminars. This led to the development of my unique NeuroTouch program for the public to learn how to reduce the amount of trauma carried in their nervous system.

This also led to my creation of a completely new clinical approach to removing trauma from the nervous system, which I call PsychoTactile TherapyThis effectively brings the language of touch to the treatment of trauma and illness, both physical and mental.

In addition to my clinical work, I also travel around the UK offering specific 1-day trainings:

For qualified psychotherapists and counsellors
Talking to the Nervous System – a PsychoTactile Approach to Trauma

For qualified bodyworkers
Massage for Trauma – Harnessing the Neuroscience for Effective Clinical Practice

I am based in Morecambe, Lancashire.
